Bundi
Bundi is situated in the southern part of the state of Rajasthan. A small picturesque town near Kota, Bundi is located at the foothills of a large craggy mountain. Surrounded by the Aravalli hills on three sides, Bundi is circumscribed by a massive wall with four gateways. Interesting monuments including impressive medieval forts, palaces, havelis, temples with beautiful stone idols and carved pillars, along with a picturesque lake in the heart of the town, add to its charm. Bundi is very famous for its intricate carvings and murals. Bundi is also famous for the annual festival of Kajli-teej, which is held in July-August.

Mandawa
Mandawa, founded by Thakur Nawal Singh, in the mid 18th century is one of the finest small towns in the Shekhawati region, which is 152 kms away from the city of Jaipur. Mandawa skyline is dominated by a fort, which is now a heritage hotel. Its archway is painted with interesting forms of paintings of Lord Krishna and his cowherds. This town not only owns a royal castle, but also havelis where the painted walls never fail to allure the tourists. Today, this little town is also a major center for handicrafts, the fresco paintings and the furniture industry.

Chittaurgarh
Chittorgarh is located in the southern part of the state of Rajasthan beside a high hill near the Gambhini River. It was founded by Bappa Rawal and is famous for its huge fort and an interesting history. The main attraction in Chittorgarh is its massive hilltop fort, which is a depiction of Rajput culture. Deogarh
Deogarh is located about 80 miles northeast of Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan. As it is at a height of about 2100 ft above sea level, it is cooler than other parts of Rajasthan. Today, Deogarh is a famous school of miniature paintings and some of the loveliest Deogarh miniatures. Frescoes of this art form can also be seen on the fort walls. A magnificent palace located on the top a hill at Deogarh, provides a picturesque view of the village, lake, and the beautiful mountains of the Aravali range.

Ranakpur
